Reading the book Gift of Power by Archie Fire Lame Deer, he talks about how it was inconvenient being a Medicine Man, Shaman and Healer because he would be called to administer healing to the tribe which was sometimes scattered across the reservation. The dilemma was, he said, that he was born to be the healer and Medicine Man.
Do you feel that you have endured struggles financially or pycholgically because you were born to work in this field?
