🧠 Brain vs. Mind — A Spiritual Perspective (with Scripture) From a biblical and spiritual perspective, the brain and the mind are distinct. They are connected, yet function on different levels. Last week, we surrendered our mind—the spiritual aspect. This week, we will surrender the physical part of the mind: the brain. I pray you are ready to completely lose your mind.

Nicodemus is perplexed, while the Pharisees are ready to declare a victory. However, Nico realizes that the demon was right when he said, “Teacher, you have no power here.” Now, he frantically searches the scriptures to understand what he has missed. The spirit he encountered is vastly different from the religious spirit he is accustomed to. After all, he claimed she was beyond human aid, yet she stood clothed and in her right mind. Nico realizes that he could not have done this. He sought her out, determined to see for himself that the demon was right—he had no power. She was redeemed by someone else. “Someone else,” he stammers. “Yes. All I know is that I was one way and now I am completely different, and the thing that happened in between was Him.” Do you remember your first touch? I do. It ignited a desire within me to experience every touch He has in store for me!

Freedom Friday is our final declaration for the week’s focus. We’re ending strong confessing, believing, and receiving sanctification and healing in that area! Our confession: I AM FREE. We believe I AM FREE! We receive I AM FREE because we’ve decided that whom the Son sets free is free indeed! NEW MIND! NEW YOU! FREE MIND! FREE YOU!

Episode 2 is Shabbat (rest). The preparation for “Shabbat” continues, and Mary is preparing her first “Shabbat” meal since she was a little girl and her father was alive.
