Workflow and backtracking
Question for those of you who mix professionally: how common is it to tighten up your mix and then have the lead vocal come back in to record with the entire mix? I am in that overlistening stage where I'm finding weird little vocal stuff that perhaps no one else will notice, but wondering if a redo will help?
I think it's mostly artifacts from tuning and timing adjustments . . .
