Meter Mystery – Which one to trust?
Out of curiosity I wanted to know if different meters would show the same data for the same sound.
I was surprised that izotope insight 2 showed a difference of 3dB for the LUFS values compared to the other 2 meters. Also for true peak there's a 3dB difference. What am I missing here? Is the calculation different? That's a massive difference which makes me unsure what to use.
