Death by Addiction
Losing someone to addiction is a different kind of grief.
There are so many unanswered questions.
So many what-ifs.
So many moments you replay in your mind wondering if something could have changed the outcome.
When someone dies from addiction, the grief is complicated.
There can be love and anger at the same time.
Sadness and relief at the same time.
Understanding and confusion at the same time.
And most people don’t know where to put those feelings, because not everyone understands this kind of loss.
