Hi all, I am Andrew, an aspiring assistant editor by night, working in a non-video field by day (policy). Editing as much as I can to build up my work with the dream of moving into this space full-time (recently edited and coloured the short film 2020 Vision, which is doing the festival rounds as we speak). Hello all, I’m Edward Tabacchi and I’m an aspiring Scripted TV Assistant Editor currently working in Reality TV. Like everyone, I’ve been riding the waves of Anxiety and fear during these turbulent times while charting a path forward through all this chaos. I enrolled in the program in 2019 and was working to try to make the jump to the Scripted in 2020 only to have to world shut down while my personal life fell apart and of course as I commit to make the jump again this year the whole world goes up in flames (maybe it’s a sign 🤣). I’m currently working on expanding my network trying to build relationships with Editors and Assistant Editors on the kind of shows that I’m obsessed with like Avatar, Dune, Monarch and all the Star Wars shows. Would love to be able to work on the Warhammer show that Henry Cavell is developing with Amazon since I’m absolutely OBSESSED with Warhammer.
