I sent out a message titled "Your words matter" a few days ago, pointing to the unexpected impact that the words you say have on our daily lives as Christians. The message here is similar, except instead of focusing solely on what we say, I'd like to let someone know that their entire existence is worth something in the eyes of the Lord. In Isaiah 42:1, God says "Look at my servant, whom I strengthen. He is my chosen one, who pleases me. I have put my Spirit upon him. He will bring justice to the nations." When God is referring to a "chosen one", He isn't referring to just one particular person; He's actually referring to anyone who is willing to unite with Christ (Ephesians 1:11). God chose us, especially you personally, to do one thing: serve as a light to this generation by guiding others to Christ. In John 15:16, Jesus encourages us to "go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name". Here's a short video if you need more encouragement:
