When Christ was on this Earth, many people misunderstood Him now for being nice and tolerant, in reality He was Someone that was the opposite of both. He was Kind, not nice. He was sharp and ruthless toward sin, not tolerant. He called Pharisees as hypocrites and children of Satan, while knocking tables over at the temple. A Nice person wouldn’t say anything and be submissive, Jesus was far from that. You might wonder Why am I typing this? Because I want you to wake up. Name me one person in real life who You know that is a Christian and is not afraid to talk back to a teacher, a coworker, a boss or even a family member. Where faith and values mean more than mere status or societal standards. You most likely don't. I'm not saying you have to be a douchebag to society and hate everyone, I want you to develop tough love in your life, because people who never criticise you only grow pride in you. The big friend-groups you see across the street are full of people like that. And Yes, people won't like that, you will be questioned and criticised and called as “toxic” “judgmental” and “hypocritical” many times, but that's fine, because that is pride being exposed in a loud way. For as Judas himself was bitter when Christ called his flaws out, yet we know that Jesus was trying to save him, because it's far better to give a rope of thorns for someone to crawl out of the well, than give nothing at all. The World has conditioned people to create a societal standard, where You can be around people who seem friendly and Kind, later on just to exclude You and mock You. I don't know if I'm crazy or Delusional, but it's more prominent around us Christians, that Respect has Transformed from a societal Expectation, to a mere Choice, You cannot even depend on people to do as something simple as to wait for you to finish something. What's more hypocritical is people then have the audacity to ask people, why are they are bitter, unforgiving and narcissistic. Or even better, they look at true Christians and call them pushy, arrogant, selfish and Judgemental. I'm not here to call myself better, for I too have grown bitter from this and I am working on to Change that, but one thing that I can tell and know, is that the prominent solution, stems down from ruthless separation and submission to God.
