I'd be very interested in Margaret's take (maybe from her own experience) on how engineers, tech people, scientists, etc. can be shut down, interrupted, "expected to be perfect before speaking up", etc. A journalist once said that the saying "I'm not a numbers person, I'm a people person" is a boast. Those who see themselves as "people people" are often in leadership roles and can be dismissive of things they deem "nerdy" (they might say "impractical.")
