Scripture of the Day
"Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."
Colossians 3:13 (NIV)
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the incredible gift of Your grace and forgiveness. Time and time again, You have shown me mercy when I didn't deserve it, and Your love has never failed me.
Today, help me to be patient with others, just as You are patient with me. When I am hurt, offended, or disappointed, remind me to choose forgiveness instead of bitterness. Give me the strength to release every grudge and trust You with every wound.
Lord, soften my heart and fill me with kindness, compassion, humility, gentleness, and love. Teach me to see others through Your eyes and to respond with grace instead of anger. Help me to extend the same mercy that You have so freely given to me.
Heal every place in my heart that still needs Your touch. Remove pride, resentment, and unforgiveness, replacing them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
May my words encourage, my actions reflect Christ, and my life be a testimony of Your amazing love. Help me to forgive as You have forgiven me and to walk each day in the freedom that forgiveness brings.
