My honest take is usually no. Not unless you have a deficiency, your doctor has told you to take something, or there is a clear reason behind it.
I do use a few things myself, but I keep it very simple. I use protein powder because it helps me get enough protein in, especially on days where food volume is lower. I take creatine because I lift weights and I genuinely feel it helps with training and recovery. In the winter I’ll usually take vitamin D. And if I’ve had a long or hard training session I might use electrolytes.
But that’s about it.
I don’t think being on Mounjaro means you suddenly need a cupboard full of supplements. The basics matter far more. Enough calories. Enough protein. Enough fibre. Nutritious meals. Hydration. Some form of movement. A routine you can actually stick to.
If you’re barely eating, supplements won’t fix that. And if you’re eating well, a lot of supplements are probably just money you don’t need to spend.
This is why I always think food comes first. Then supplements can fill small gaps if needed.
What do you take, if anything? Protein powder? Creatine? Vitamins? Electrolytes? Or nothing at all?
And do you genuinely feel a benefit from them?
