Anti Mounjaro?
I got a comment on my socials on a video about Mounjaro saying they were anti Mounjaro.
No hate towards them at all. It was actually a supportive comment overall. But it did make me think.
Why are some people so anti Mounjaro or anti weight loss medication in general?
I completely get that these medications can be misused. I also get that some people may take them and not do much work around food, exercise or lifestyle. But that can happen with almost anything. For me, you still get back what you put in.
Mounjaro has changed my health in a way that is hard to explain unless you have lived in a body that felt under serious pressure every day. The strain off my body, my breathing, my heart, my fitness and even just moving around day to day is completely different now.
So when I see people totally against GLP-1s, I do wonder what part they are actually against. Is it the medication itself? Is it people using help to lose weight? Is it the fear of long-term use? Is it because they think it is the easy way out?
I’d be interested to know what others think.
Have you had people comment negatively about you using Mounjaro or another GLP-1? And if so, what did they say?
