I wanted to share the breathing method I encourage everyone to do before their next meeting, presentation, or difficult conversation.
Because most people think they have a communication problem…
when actually, they have a nervous system problem first.
If your breathing is shallow:→ your thoughts speed up→ your voice tightens→ your mind goes blank→ you lose access to your clarity
This is why some people sound “less confident” even when they know exactly what they’re talking about.
Before pressure hits, regulate the body first.
In this video, I walk through a simple breathing technique I personally teach professionals before high-pressure communication moments.
