Which Premiere Pro shortcuts do you use the most to edit faster?
These are the shortcuts I use the most 👇
Playback (shuttle controls)
- 1 → Shuttle left (original: J)
- 2 → Stop (original: K)
- 3 → Shuttle right (original: L)
Editing around the playhead
- Q → Ripple trim previous edit to playhead
- W → Add edit (original: Ctrl + K)
- E → Ripple trim next edit to playhead (original: W)
I moved the most-used actions to the left side of the keyboard, so my right hand never leaves the mouse. Less movement = more flow.
