What is Freelancing?
Freelancing is a kind of work that gives freedom of time and place.
Presume freelancing as your business and it'll help you grow effectively.
FREELANCING PRINCIPLES:
• You need to be self-discipline and manage your time, since you'll be your own boss so you have take out time for work, family, and improving the skills.
• Learn client communication so that you make the clients understand their needs , keep them updated.
• Always deliver quality work no matter the size of project.
• Freelancing needs consistancy and commitment so you need to be dedicated to that.
• Building protfolio is important but it's more important how you're showing it. Portfolio is basically asked so that client satisfy itself that you've capacity and competence to deliver the project effectively.
• Get clients feedback. It will help you to close clients in future.
• Build relationship with better clients. It will open doors of new oppertunities and projects.
• You should be able to negotiate you rates.
• You need to learn continuously so that you remain relevant and competent in field.
• Manage your income and expenses. Keep in mind the budgeting and taxes too.
• Maintain work-life balance. It sometimes becomes difficult to maintain but you need to keep the control of it so that you can protect your productivity and mental health. ( Never give complete time to work and neglect personal & family life, and vice versa)
