Title: Which computer to buy for video editing
Since this is my first day on Skool, I went to my brother to ask for help with buying a new computer for video editing. When he asked me which computer I wanted to buy, I honestly had no clear answer because I hadn’t researched properly yet.
From his reaction though, I got the feeling that he’s willing to help me, which gave me some motivation.
After that, I searched on Google about the minimum system requirements for running Premiere Pro and After Effects. Most places suggest a quad-core CPU, 16GB RAM, at least a 2GB VRAM GPU, and an SSD of minimum 256GB.
Now I want help from you guys. I’d really appreciate it if you could suggest a desktop setup that you’re personally using for your editing workflow. Also, if anyone knows a vendor who provides desktop computers at a reasonable or wholesale price, please let me know.
