I want to share this, maybe it helps someone.
I’m not even a graduate. My qualifications were very low, and at one point in my life, I was really down and surrounded by the wrong kind of people.
One day, someone told my older brother that I was into drugs. I wasn’t. My brother said, “We trust you, don’t worry, but don’t sit with people like this, otherwise everyone will think the same about you.”
That hit me hard. I started questioning myself, what am I doing with my life? Why am I wasting it?
Since my qualifications were low, I decided to learn skills from YouTube. I started with WordPress, HTML, and CSS.
One day, my cousin told me his friend had opened a company and asked if I wanted to give an interview. I went and I passed.
At that startup, there wasn’t much guidance. I had to learn on my own. I kept pushing myself and learned WordPress, Angular, Flutter, and more.
I worked extremely hard. My office timing was 10 to 7, but I often stayed until 2–3 AM just to learn and improve.
Today, I’m a Senior Engineer working with Next.js, Angular, WordPress, Shopify, Flutter,NestJS and AWS. I’ve spent almost 6 years with the same company, staying loyal and consistent.
My advice:
If you feel lost, demotivated, or think your qualifications are too low, don’t give up.
If I can do it, you can do it too.
And if anyone needs help with a roadmap or guidance, I’m always here to help.
