Day 2 25/02/26 (Notes)
Today I learned about the Learning Pyramid and how the way we study really affects how much we remember. One key takeaway for me was that learning works best at a steady, manageable pace — not in a rush. When we try to cram too much too fast, we don’t retain much. The pyramid shows that retention rates vary depending on the method, and the highest retention comes from teaching others. That really stood out to me — if you can teach it, you truly understand it.
I also reflected on the importance of taking ownership of my mistakes. Instead of blaming others or circumstances, it’s better to accept responsibility, learn from it, and grow. That mindset shift feels powerful.
Another important lesson was about spending time with yourself. Self-awareness and honest self-assessment are key steps toward becoming a better version of yourself. When you understand your strengths, weaknesses, habits, and patterns, you can actually start improving them.
The part that resonated with me the most was digital decluttering — cleaning up both my physical workspace and my online space. Too much clutter creates mental noise and makes it hard to focus. I’ve been feeling stuck lately, and I realize now that the mess around me might be contributing to that feeling. So today, I’ve decided to clean up my workspace and organize my digital life. I believe this small step will help clear my mind too.
I also learned how low energy — whether physical or mental — can negatively affect productivity and overall well-being. Protecting my energy is just as important as managing my time.
Overall, today’s learning reminded me that growth doesn’t happen in chaos or rush. It happens with awareness, ownership, and intentional action. And today, I’m choosing to start.
