Daily Journal — Day 33 (Tuesday)
Today was one of those days where planning, patience, and pressure all came together.
Early Morning: Fasting & Discipline
I woke up at 5:30 AM, had sehri, and waited for Fajr.
After praying Fajr, I went back to sleep till 7:20 AM.
I then freshened up, got ready, and left for classes.
Classes ended at 11:30 AM.
Work Begins: Focus Mode
I reached work at 12:07 PM and started working on a client project.
Worked till 12:50 PM, then had a 5-minute call with the client regarding a few urgent designs. I took the details and continued working.
In between client work, I also posted my journal and set up a sheet for the outreach campaign.
By 1:14 PM, the outreach setup was done, and I continued client work till 3:42 PM.
Market Visit: Helping a Friend
After work, I left for Saddar to buy a phone for a friend.
Market research had already been done earlier through calls, so this time it was about finalizing the purchase.
We selected a pink Google Pixel 7a, finalized the deal, and bought all necessary accessories.
I returned around 5:00 PM.
Evening: Work, Iftar & Traffic Test
After coming back, I prayed Asr and submitted the designs with a few name changes.
Then I went to the masjid for Maghrib, broke my fast, and returned to work. 🌙
Unfortunately, the entire area was stuck in heavy traffic, and since I was in the car, there was no option but to wait.
After Maghrib, I had a session with a community member.
We discussed building a community and also talked about dummy bidding, where I guided her in detail.
Unexpected Moment on the Road
Around 7:50 PM, things didn’t improve traffic-wise, so I decided to head home.
Before going home, I stopped by my khala’s place to pick something up.
What should’ve been a 5-minute route took 30 minutes.
On the way, a car hit my car from behind. It was my first experience like this.
I immediately braked, asked the driver to pull over, and parked my car as well.
I called a friend, who estimated the damage at 4–5k. The other driver transferred 3k, and I decided to let it go better to avoid escalation than stress.
After picking up the items from khala’s home, I headed back.
Due to traffic, it took around 1.5 hours to reach home.
Night: Wind-Down
Once home, I had dinner, opened my laptop, watched some videos, relaxed a bit, and did light work before calling it a day.
Reflection
Today required patience, flexibility, and calm decision-making.
Not everything went smoothly, but Alhamdulillah, things were handled with maturity.
Another day lived fasting, working, learning, and adapting.
