Date: 10 December 2025
Day: Wednesday
⭐ One Thing to Remember Today
Today I feel like, apart from duty, I have very little time, and no matter how hard I try, I can only make 3 to 4 hours truly productive. I kept thinking the whole day about how I can increase my productive hours. I feel like those small 15-20 minute breaks waste a lot of my time.

🚫 What I Don’t Want to Do Today
I don’t want to waste any time. My midterms are ongoing, and I need to stay focused.
🌅 Day Start
I woke up and performed wudu, then went to the masjid for Fajr prayer. After returning to my room, I recited Surah Yaseen. Around 7:00 am, I went to take a shower, brushed my teeth, and got ready for duty.
At 8:00 am, I went to the mess for breakfast. By 8:30 am, I was back and spent some time reading community posts on my mobile. At 9:00 am, I left for duty.
After reaching, attendance was taken at 9:30 am, followed by two lectures. At 12:30 pm, we had a two-hour break. I had lunch, prayed Zuhr at 1:30 pm, rested for a while, and chatted with my colleagues.
The last lecture started at 2:30 pm and ended at 3:30 pm. I reached the hostel at 4:00 pm, changed my clothes, and after reading a few more community posts, I performed wudu and went to the masjid for Asr prayer.
After that, I took a short walk and returned to my room. At 5:00 pm, I started writing my daily journal, and at 5:40 pm, I went for Maghrib prayer. From 6:00 pm to 7:20 pm, I watched the CS610 (Computer Networks) lectures and then went to pray Isha.
After Isha, around 7:50 pm, I went straight to the mess for dinner. After dinner, I took another short walk and returned to my room at 8:30 pm.
I posted yesterday’s daily journal and then started watching the CS301 (Data Structures) lectures. After that, from 10:00 pm to 11:00 pm, I watched the CS504 (Software Engineering-I) lectures.
Later, I called home and talked to my family. At 11:20 pm, I opened the community and read some posts, and then I went to sleep.
Day End.

✨ Reflection
Today was a reminder that consistency is more powerful than intensity. Even though my routine felt tight and I struggled to find extra productive hours, I still managed to complete my lectures, attend all retraining sessions, and stay regular in my prayers. This shows that progress is still happening, even on days that feel overwhelming.
I also realized that productivity is not just about having more time, its about using the time I already have with focus and intention. My small breaks often stretch longer than I expect, and becoming mindful of them will help me gain back valuable minutes.
Despite the pressure of midterms and duty, I stayed disciplined and moved forward in both my studies and my spiritual routine. This balance is something I want to maintain and improve.
InshaAllah, with better planning and reduced distractions, I will be able to create more productive hours and continue building a stronger, more focused version of myself.
📅 To-Do List for Tomorrow
  • Attend all retraining lectures
  • CS301 – Lecture No. 09 & 10
  • CS504 – Lecture No. 09 & 10
  • CS610 – Lecture No. 09 & 10
