I stumbled across something interesting yesterday and wanted to share it. Did you know that Sir Christopher Lee has an impressive life that spans war, acting, and music? He is the direct descendant of King Charlemagne. He wrote a symphonic metal orchestration about it.....enjoy.

This is a video I was working on that explores how music affects the brain and how different events througout the 20th century changed the way we think about music and what kind of effects it has on us as humans. As always this video is saved in the classroom.

Here's a fun little tid bit about music in general. I have been reading studies, because I find them to be interesting, especially about how music affects us as humans. One I came across from the National Institute of Health states: Music acts as a full-brain workout that drives neuroplasticity, strengthening neural connections across auditory, motor, and emotional regions, particularly during early childhood development. It enhances cognitive functions like language, memory, and spatial reasoning while improving motor skills and emotional regulation throughout the lifespan.
