Yarn Source Question!
Good morning from Toronto, anyone else here in Canada? If so where do you source your yarn from? 💚
Technical Question About Lace Knitting
❓What am I doing wrong? I’m working on a Brother KH-910 knitting machine using a foil pattern for a lace pattern. The machine knits the initial stitches perfectly until I program in the pattern. The foil runs to the start of the pattern, and I knit 2 rows with the knitting carriage. That works without any problems, but then the lace pattern carriage follows, and the foil doesn’t move any further. It selects the correct needles, but the foil doesn’t advance any rows. However, the foil feed is working; otherwise, it wouldn’t pull the foil in. I also make sure to press the RR button before starting, so that the pattern is set to the beginning. But the problem persists. Does anyone have any advice? 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️
Lace using Brother Kh260 chunky
I fancy making a chunky jumper or cardigan with some lace stitches to give it a bit of a pattern - has anyone ever used a lace punchcard to select the needles and then manually manipulated the needles to make the transfers/ holes?
Anyone in France?
Hi, does anyone live in France? I'm in a couple of French knitting machine groups on Facebook, but I've never found anyone near me... 😥😥
Teaching Young Children - Easy Machine For Start Up Needed
We started home educating, lots of creative days and I would love for us to pick up a knitting machine, for my children to learn to knit panels, and then for us to sew basic cardigans to start. How exciting! What machine would be recommended for children to use (with my supervision) for basic knitting and start up, also super easy for them incase of breakages etc. Already have a cardigan pattern that we can replicate, only 1 back panel, 2 front panels, and 2 sleeve panels, then to sew together. ☺️
