Here’s takeoff footage I recorded from yesterday of this A380 taking off from Melbourne, with the Trent 900s this time. Unfortunately the engines aren’t as audible as I wanted them to be mainly due to some white noise from the background, however you can still hear the staged spool up of the Trent 900s. This was followed by a very shallow climb out which i was too lazy to record, must have been very heavy that day.

What’s the one piece of advice you’d give to someone thinking of starting flight school? Costs, lifestyle, or just “don’t buy that headset”?
