Achieving goals against the odds ⚽️🥅
Living with multiple sclerosis has presented me with a fair number of challenges over the years. But has also shaped my journey in ways I never expected.
At first, the diagnosis felt like it had wiped out all my plans and goals. It felt like I was in a fight with my own body, and it was frustrating. 😤
An important thing I have learned is to redefine what success means for me. It doesn’t have to match anyone else’s idea of achievement. I have exceeded my own goals, I’m damn proud of myself for that and I don’t need anyone else to agree!
I’ve realised that living with a long term condition has taught me important lessons in resilience and adaptability. That is something I’m actually very grateful for. 🙏
