My name is Francisco Garcia, and I’m currently based in North Carolina, USA. I studied Industrial Design in Argentina and I’m working professional with experience in industrial, automotive, aerospace, and military product design. I currently work at Caterpillar while continuing to develop my skills in vehicle design, sketching, and digital visualization. Car design has been my passion for many years. I earned a degree in Automotive Design and was awarded a Pininfarina scholarship in vehicle aesthetics. Throughout my career I’ve worked on product development, engineering, and advanced design projects, but automotive design remains the field that inspires me the most. I enjoy combining creativity, engineering constraints, and visual storytelling to create compelling vehicles. My main goal over the next 8 weeks is to improve the quality, speed, and confidence of my vehicle sketches. I want to strengthen my understanding of proportions, perspective, and form language while building a consistent sketching routine and developing a stronger automotive design portfolio.
