Psalms
Sometimes I think about prayer and know that it can be hard so I do believe that for anyone who struggles with praying, to get into the psalms and actually pray the psalm or psalms that apply to your situation or if you’re just feeling grateful. Today I was reading Psalm 57:1 Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of they wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.
Be merciful to me, seems to come to mind first, I am a sinner. We all are. My soul trusteth in thee, help me trust Lord, as this is difficult for me. In the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities have past, really helps me feel safe. I’m so grateful to the Lord for all these things, it’s such a comfort and blessing to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
If you don’t know the Lord Jesus I encourage you to get to know him. If you’d like to be saved from your sins and be loved like you’ve never been loved all you have to do is say, Lord Jesus, I am a sinner, forgive me of my sins, but I believe you died for my sins so please come into my heart and save me now. Amen
