Sometimes I think about prayer and know that it can be hard so I do believe that for anyone who struggles with praying, to get into the psalms and actually pray the psalm or psalms that apply to your situation or if you’re just feeling grateful. Today I was reading Psalm 57:1 Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of they wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast. Be merciful to me, seems to come to mind first, I am a sinner. We all are. My soul trusteth in thee, help me trust Lord, as this is difficult for me. In the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities have past, really helps me feel safe. I’m so grateful to the Lord for all these things, it’s such a comfort and blessing to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. If you don’t know the Lord Jesus I encourage you to get to know him. If you’d like to be saved from your sins and be loved like you’ve never been loved all you have to do is say, Lord Jesus, I am a sinner, forgive me of my sins, but I believe you died for my sins so please come into my heart and save me now. Place of Writing: Perhaps Ephesus. Recipients: All believers, both in Judea and throughout the Gentile lands, as indicated by the translations offered by John in 1:38; 5:2; and 19:13. Subject: The Gospel of Life Proving that Jesus Christ is God the Savior Coming as Life to Propagate Himself CHAPTER 1 1. In the beginning was the Word, and the word was with God, and the Word was God. 1. In the beginning means In eternity past. As the introduction to this Gospel, this chapter begins in eternity past with God, who had divinity but not humanity (v. 1); it then passes through His creation of all things (v. 3), His incarnation (v. 14), His becoming the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world (v. 29), and His being the spirit who causes the believers to be transformed into living stones for his building (vv. 32, 42), and continues all the way to eternity future, in which the Son of Man, who has both divinity and humanity, is the center for the communication between heaven and earth and for the union of God and man in eternity. The Apostle John came to teach on Jesus Christ teaching who God sent to us as humanity to save us from ours sins. He was baptizing in water, any who would become reborn, believing in the Messiah who was coming after him to become the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ. Father, thank you for your word, please bless this to any who reads it and let it be understood by them also. We are grateful to you for all you’ve done for us in our lives, the forgiveness of our sins but also a roof over our head and food to bless to our stomachs. For those who have not, I ask that you strengthen them and help them. We know that you take care of all that is your own. Please help us to surrender our lives to you, and leave our old ways behind.
