RECALL... Did you know???
If you weren't aware, be advised that all other tofu is safe. Just make sure you buy organic Tofu.
Hodo, Inc. recalled more than 10,000 cases of its pre-cooked tofu across 29 states due to a potential ink contamination from packaging. All other Hodo tofu is safe. I have never brought this brand!
Recall Details
- Product: Hodo Chili Crisp Lightly Fried Tofu (8-ounce packages)
- Reason: Potential chemical contamination from printing ink
- Distribution: 29 U.S. states
- Best-by Dates: Ranging from May through November 2026
- Illnesses: “No illnesses or injuries have been reported, according to the company's statement.”
