On yesterday’s call, I shared that my daughter brought me a few jars of hearts of palm, and I mentioned that I was planning to make plant-based crab cakes. Well, this morning I woke up craving grits and salmon — so that’s exactly what I made, plant-based style! 💚
Sometimes the best meals come from simply listening to what you’re craving and finding a creative way to make it work. Hearts of palm are such a great option because they have a light, flaky texture that works beautifully in seafood-inspired dishes. Crab cakes will have to wait a while. I didn't eat all 4; only 3.😃
