I created a lender - broker matchmaking platform for biz finance brokers. A few months ago I gave a presentation of it to a group of finance professionals. A couple of people from that presentation reached out to ask if I would give their organization- a large equipment finance trade association a demo on their next committee call- which was today. I killed it!! I created a short power point in Gamma and then I gave them a demo of the tool. I built it with Bolt and finished up with Claude Code. It was a SaaS tool that I went in and gated for the presentation to block any subscriptions and I customized it for this association. We will talk again in a month. Been quiet lately as I’ve been going down the n8n rabbit 🐇 hole 🕳️. I’ve been building frontend projects in Bolt/Lovable and adding n8n automation as the backend. Since this is the route I’m focused on, I got the self hosted n8n on Hostinger. May not seem like much of a win to some but for me it’s a big deal since I’ve been consuming n8n info for weeks now. I hope to share some finished projects this week here! For now getting the self hosted version is an amazing win for this vibe coder!

I knew I wanted to break into automation/AI but wasn’t sure how to get started. I’d been tinkering with some tools (lovable.dev, bolt.new, replit) but hadn’t figured out how to turn that into actual income. That’s when I found Zac and started following his advice inside this community. Honestly, game-changer. Instead of overthinking, I just executed. Here’s what happened: I doubled down on Upwork (instead of trying 5 strategies at once). I got really good at crafting simple offers (no overcomplicating, just clear solutions). I leaned into my strength: vibe coding services — fast prototypes, lightweight apps, and creative solutions. Fast forward a few months → I’ve now worked with 15+ clients and crossed $10K+ in revenue from Upwork alone. 🔥 Some wins I’m proud of: Learned how to position “small builds” as high-value solutions. Built repeat business with clients who started with small projects. Proved to myself that you don’t need to be some crazy technical founder — you just need to take action, ship, and communicate well. Takeaways for anyone just starting: Don’t get lost in the noise. Pick one strategy (Upwork, cold outreach, whatever) and go all in. Simplicity sells. You don’t need a complex stack — you need to solve a real problem quickly. Momentum compounds. The first client feels impossible, but by the 10th you’re flying. Just hit a solid milestone on a Competitive Analysis Tool I’m building with Lovable.dev.The client gave me complete mockups in Figma, and the requirement was that the app had to look EXACTLY like the designs.
