Hey guys, Was wondering on a lockout, when arriving how do you normally validate that the person you're helping to gain access is legally the owner or person in charge of the vehicle? Is there a boiler plate short contract they sign off on? How do operate in this situation? Thanks in advance.

I had a question if anyone here can upload or paste a boiler plate agreement you can carry on a clipboard to avail you from certain scenarios (like - "that check engine light didn't come on till you touched my car) type of stuff.
