Coined by the comedic genius Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm).
A Chat & Cut is when someone pretends to be friendly with someone they barely know (or even like) just to sneak into a line.
Basically: fake small talk + cutting in line = Chat & Cut 😆
💬 Example:
«"Do you see what's going on here? This woman is completely doing a Chat and Cut to get ahead in the buffet line."»
