Sushi? Nigiri?
Someone told me that people outside of Japan think sushi is a roll,
and nigiri is the one with rice and sashimi on top.
It's true. Nigiri is exactly what you imagine.
But when Japanese people say "sushi," we almost always think of nigiri, not rolls.
What do you think?
If someone said, "I ate sushi," would you think of rolls or nigiri?
It's just out of curiosity...
