Moxa's recommendation of LME classes for Chinese

今天，有一位中国同学来咨询我LME课程的选择，我们愉快地聊了1个小时左右，但我突然想到，以前也有同学咨询过几次，干脆我写一个帖子给大家参考。主要给中国同学，所以我中文写在前面，英文写在后面。

Today, a Chinese classmate came to me for class recommendation of LME. We talked about one hour happily, but after that I realized this happened several times before, why don't I make a post here? It's mainly for Chinese students, so Chinese first, English later.

我是一名正宗的中国学生，也就是花了十几年在学校学英语，成绩很好看，但是听和说都很差。如果你跟我类似，并且在某些地方看到过我分享（炫耀）我的变化，不妨了解一下。

I'm a real Chinese student, which means I spent over ten years on English since middle school, performing well academically, poor in listening and speaking. If you are like this, and once saw me sharing or even showing off my progress, here is my recommendation.

1.训练营。性价比高，CS亲自上直播课，听和说轮流上，搭配答疑课和练习课，还有口语作业让你练习输出。唯一的缺点就是上麦的同学相对比较多，但是可以用好AMA课来补足，强推！

The first one, English Camp. It's totally worth it! CS teaches us through live class once a week, listening and speaking classes are arranged alternatively, has AMA class and practice class, even challenges for you to practice your spoken English. The only thing is, we often have a relatively long line to practice in live class, but that would totally be fine if you take good use of AMA classes in our community!

2. 8周口语课。这是我起飞的地方！

一共8个PIRF项目，都是精选的容易错的元素。每个项目像游戏一样，由你来作主人解锁通关。

(1)每个项目，你先拿到文本，练习三四天，每天三次，之后录音发到邮箱，会收到教练的视频反馈（不是CS本人，但都是很厉害的教练），指出你发音的问题，演示正确读法。

(2)同时，会收到CS录制的课程视频，详细讲解发音、重音、节奏、语流等。

(3)你再练习两三天，发送第二次录音，会收到第二次视频反馈，同时为你解锁下一个项目。

一般一个项目一周，但你可以有自己的节奏。

(4)同时，每个项目有5个口语小作业，每天录一个发邮箱，都会收到视频反馈。

我学到很多，也增强了英语思维和表达能力。

The second one, 8-week program, where I began to rocket!

It's consisted of 8 PIRF, all well selected to hit our weak parts. It's like a game, you are the player to control the pace.

For each PIRF, you:

(1)get the assignment, a passage or so, need to practice 3 times a day for 3 or 4 days, then send your recording to the mailbox. Soon you will receive the VIDEO feedback from coaches(not CS himself but all super good coaches) to point out your problems and teach you how to speak correctly.

(2)meantime, you will receive the class video from Coach Shane, about pronunciation, intonation, rhythm and flow.

(3) you practice another 2-3 days, 3 times a day still, then send your second recording to the mailbox. Then you will get your second video feedback and unlock the next PIRF.

(4) each PIRF has 5 assignments with it, you can answer one question every day and send to the mailbox, all will receive a video feedback.

I really learn a lot from it, especially the ability of thinking and speaking in English.

3. DDM (VIP)。有standard、VIP和Personal，从基础到定制，建议至少VIP。

主攻听写，还学美国文化等等，每月5期，3期宋飞正传（经典美剧）+2期新闻、纪录片、广告等。

第一天，收到作业，视频、音频和配套的文本，基础班是4段红字听写，高阶版还有4段蓝字听写，我学了10个月，只做基础版听写，正确率从一开始的78%-81%，到现在的91%左右（只测量了4期，没有每次测算，仅作参考）。

第四天，收到答案视频，CS亲自讲解红字的听写，找出错得多的地方专门细讲。还会提很多问题让大家思考、回答。有任何问题可以留言提问。

第六天，收到解释视频，CS讲解所有问题，问得多就讲得多。还会讲他认为重要的地方。

有大量的VIP直播课，排队人比较少，每天框框练！

还有LTA（一个口语作业，回答问题）和AWS（剧里的角色扮演），很好玩。

DDM, with standard, VIP and Personal, from basic to customized version, VIP is my choice.

Working on dictation and culture thing, 5 assignments per month, 3 of them from Seinfeld the classic American comedy show, 2 left are normally news, documentary or ads.

Day 1, you get the assignment, including video, audio and document. The basic version includes four red paragraphs, advanced one has four more blue ones. I've been in for 10 months, still focus on the basic red ones, my rate improves from the beginning 78%-81% to now 91% (only test for about four times, not precisely, just for your information).

Day 4, get the answer video. CS talks about the answer, digs into the common mistakes, asks a lot questions for us to answer. You can leave comments and ask any question if you have.

Day 6, get the explanation video. CS talks about all the questions and anywhere he thinks needed.

Tons of VIP live classes, not such big group, go practice every day!

Plus, a LTA(oral assignment to answer a question) and AWS (role play in Seinfeld), funny!

主攻说，不是读，是说。发音、重音、节奏、语流，教你去掉“人机”味。

第一天，收到作业，文本，框框练，一天3遍，练7天，中间可以上传录音。有作业VF（找元音）、BQ和MyPIRF(都是口语作业），做完上传。有问题随时留言问。

第七天，收到P课程，美国教练Coach Rochelle教发音，还有VF元音的讲解。

第十天，收到IRF课程，美国教练Coach Rochelle教重音、节奏、语流，还讲解所有的疑问。

Working on speaking, not reading. Pronunciation, intonation, rhythm and flow, you will be a real human being instead of an English machine.

Day 1, get the assignment, a document. Practice, 3 times a day for 7 days, you can upload your recording anytime. We also have VF (finding some specific vowel sound), BQ and MyPIRF (oral assignments), finish and upload them. You can leave comments and ask any question if you have.

Day 7, get the P video from Coach Rochelle, American, to teach us the pronunciation and VF.

Day 10, get the IRF video from Coach Rochelle, American, to teach us the intonation, rhythm and flow, plus all the questions we left.
