Would you rather buy something together or on your own?
If I shared an apartment with a roommate, I'd rather buy groceries on my own. I'm such a foodie that I just can't resist treating myself to all kinds of premium fruit, and to be honest, I probably wouldn't want to share it with anyone else. I know that sounds a bit selfish, but I think it'd be hard to find someone who's willing to spend as much as I do on good-quality fruit. On the other hand, when it comes to furniture like a table or a sofa, I'd be happy to buy those together because we'd both be using them every day.
