This week, I began living with less technology. One way I did this, was to make analog stuff fun. Since I am quite an 'artsy' person, I did this by binding my own notebooks by hand instead of buying them from the store. This also means I can control how many pages, what type of paper and the cover much more easily.
Today, I woke up very late since I am on holiday, but, I still read a book after waking up for 1h with no music. Then, I talked to my friends irl. It is midday and I'm about to go visit my sister.
Tips:
If you find reading books boring, get physical copies and annotate them.
If you are just starting, using a little bit of social media may help, so it not a sudden cutoff, just be sure to set timers.
Hank Green's 'Focus Friend' app has really helped me stay off my phone.
