I spoke to Robert Baker at The CFO Practice this week. Q1-26 has been busy for him. Q4-25 was quiet. Although it's 'phasing' the point is this... hiring is picking up. People are getting approached. Then their notices will land. Then there’s a second wave when gaps appear at CFO level. If your LinkedIn profile isn’t right, you’re on the back foot. A shout out to @James Hubbard who has turned his profile around using SKOOL in under a week. And he has three kids. Now he's firmly onto networking and coffee chats. It’s not a big job. But leaving it is a big mistake especially as you've got two bites at the cherry IMO. Can you show a badge for more than 1 institution in your profile header?
Hi David, I've been working my way through the LI Bootcamp since attending your webinar last week. It's full of great ideas and pointers which I have already implemented in my profile, so many thanks for that. One thing I wanted to check is on the profile/header section where you can showcase your education and it pulls through the badge relating to your institution...can you have more than 1 institution showing? Reason for asking is that I would like to get maximum bragging rights (!) from showing Warwick Business School as well as the ACCA in my headline! Is this possible? Thanks

Awareness - Posting on LinkedIn
A CFO messaged me last week after he posted about Chinese New Year. He said he couldn’t believe the increase in profile views as a result. Here’s the thing! There’s over 1 billion people on LinkedIn and this is growing by 10,000 people per week. 50% of users come onto the platform weekly. ONLY 1% of users post weekly though. So if you post, you’re going to have more visibility than not. if you want some inspiration @Nigel Grace, @Simon Coultas and @Rachel Daly are regular posters. Finally if you want a framework I would put your content into three buckets: 1. Value - give your knowledge or invests away from free 2. Credibility - show people what you’ve done 3. Entertaining - could be a poll or even a question The more you post the easier it becomes 😀
