Meal Planning
Embarrassed to even say this but we have 4 freezers FULL of stuff - our regular freezer on our refrigerator, a stand up freezer and 2 chest freezers. We buy beef by the 1/2 cow so it’s definitely needed. This task today is very timely because my husband and I went through our freezers over the weekend, organized everything, taking stock of what we have, and making plans for how we can use it. We actually were able to organize so well that our refrigerator freezer and one of the chest freezers are now only 1/2 full.
Anyone else feel like their freezers are a black hole where things just get lost?
Meal plan for this week (for dinners)
Monday- hot honey chicken sliders
Tuesday- Pasta and meatballs (I’ll do half pasta and half cottage cheese)
Wednesday- garlic steak bowls
Thursday - date night
Friday - cheesy chicken and vegetable ramen bowls
Saturday - pizza
Sunday - chicken parmesan pasta bowls (again I’ll be doing half pasta and half cottage cheese).
Also for those that love pasta, I really recommend 3 Farm Daughters pasta. Higher protein and fiber, but doesn’t taste like cardboard. The way it is processed makes it more gut friendly.
