Hey everyone, doing my introduction for the month. This is my 3rd month with this group. After my first month, I joined as a VIP. I love the support and ideas from this group.
For those new here, I live in North Dakota. I work in higher education as the Director of Admissions & Records, so I travel quite frequently (especially in the fall), but when I’m in the office it’s also a lot of desk time. In addition to working, I have 2 teenage boys, 4 dogs, 2 cats and a husband that keep me busy.
I’m 42 and in the past year definitely started experiencing the symptoms of perimenopause. trying to do what I can now to lose weight, gain muscle, and get healthier!
Outside of work and family I love reading! I also enjoy craft beer, although am finding as I’ve transitioned into perimenopause I cannot tolerate beer as much (I can only have one or two, or else I’m super bloated and get a horrible headache). I enjoy trying new recipes (baking and cooking).
