Your chest tightens. Your hand hovers over send. That's the moment ~ right there, before either voice wins.
Fear asks, "What if it doesn't work?" Fearless asks, "What if it does?"
Fear asks for certainty. Fearless makes room for possibility.
Fear sees the unknown as a threat. Fearless sees it as an invitation.
Fear contracts. Fearless expands.
Fear doubts. Fearless trusts.
Fear clings to what is familiar. Fearless is willing to evolve.
Fear wants the map before taking the step. Fearless takes the step and discovers the path along the way.
Because fearlessness isn't the absence of fear.
It is refusing to let fear decide what is possible.
It is standing at the edge of the unknown and saying:
I don't know what happens next. And I don't need to.
I trust myself enough to find out.
Here's the part nobody says out loud though ~ you can read this whole list and nod at every line, and still go back to asking Fear's questions tomorrow morning. Knowing the difference isn't the same as choosing it with your hand still on send.
Don't argue with the question. Just add the second one next to it.
Which line in this list is the one Fear says to you the most? Tell me below.
