Projects are in progress!
I finally integrated the LifeOS projects into my system this afternoon. That included moving what I had in my goals database to the projects database and linking parent and sub projects. (I archived the Goals database.) I still have a ways to go, but I have started defining what done looks like for the shorter term ones, and I'm definitely feeling a sense of relief.
I don't think I realized how much of an open loop I was creating for myself by not documenting what done looks like - in essence I basically have been forcing myself to redefine a project every time I engage with it. I don't think it's necessary to have it from the beginning, but I think it's doable to make a rule for myself to require the done field as soon as I move the status to 'Active' if it isn't there already.
Now to get through to Quarters before I start my quarterly/seasonal planning at the end of February...
