Trauma Compresses the Future
Trauma does not only wound the mind.
It compresses the future.
Many people unknowingly shrink their dreams, desires, and ambitions to avoid reliving pain, embarrassment, rejection, or failure. They convince themselves they are being “realistic,” when in truth they are adapting to fear.
This is why healing matters spiritually.
Because the moment someone removes the emotional authority their past has over them, possibility expands again.
The future opens.
Energy returns.
Vision returns.
The soul begins breathing again.
