Know your worth! A lesson in value.
Last night handed me a powerful reminder about value and knowing your worth.
During the interval at the Nashville Live show, a lady lifted my book at the merch stand and asked the price.
I said, “€20 each.”
She smiled and said,
“If I get one for myself and one for my sister, will you give me two for €30?”
I nearly nodded…
But instead I paused as she flicked a few pages, I replied,
“Your sister will be very grateful.”
Then I added,
“It’s more than just a book. Every chapter has its own QR code linking to an original recording that anchors the lesson in that chapter.”
She paused.
Her eyes widened.
“Oh wow… that must have been a big project.”
It was.
A huge one.
Heart, soul, years of graft.
She handed me €40.
And after the show, she came back and bought a CD as well.
The lesson?
People will value your work at the level you value it yourself.
Stand tall in your worth.
Never sell yourself short.💪
