God is not asking you to become someone else. He is not disappointed that you are still in process.
Philippians 1:6 (NIV)
“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
Sanctification is not self-improvement or spiritual performance. It is participation with a God who is already at work within you.
Many people approach God only when they feel strong, focused, or spiritually disciplined.
But the invitation of Scripture is presence, not performance. God forms us not just through activity, but through abiding.
Today, set aside two minutes. Sit quietly. No agenda. No fixing. No striving. Just presence.
Even restlessness is allowed. The Spirit meets us exactly where we are.
Spiritual growth often happens beneath the surface, quietly and faithfully.
