What’s a tool you bought too early… and didn’t really need yet?

I am hoping to find someone to make me a makers mark stamp. Does anyone know of a company that makes good ones?

My makers mark stamp just arrived!! It looks so great. I am very happy with it. I need to practice on some scrap to see how various amounts of casing will make for different quality stamping.

I am having a stamp made for my logo. One option is to get a heating handle. But I think it may work more like a brand. The tool maker said I would not need the heating handle that I can just use the striking mandrill on veg tan. Any thoughts/ experiences?
