Assalamu Alaykum!
My name is Faith, and I only know a few words in Arabic of which my Sudanese friends taught me. I'm here to understand what they're gossiping about at work lol. Shukran!
Intro
What's up everyone, my name is Farris Abuneel. I'm a 20 y/o fitness coach based out of Miami, Fl. I've been raised in the states all my life, I lived in South Carolina for 4 years and then Virginia for 16 years. I feel very "white washed" because American culture is pretty much all I know and what feels authentic to me. I want to learn Arabic because I'm still young and believe I should pick this skill up while I have the time to. My family is from Jordan and I feel like the odd one out because I am the only one in my family that really doesn't speak arabic. I want to get closer to my roots and most of all get closer with my family as well. I also have been stepping towards God recently as before this year I've never had religion in my life and I've been reading the Quran in english daily for the past couple months.

AsSalaamu Alaykum
My name is Abdul-Ahad, I am Bengali but living in London. Ultimately, I am here to learn Arabic to understand the Quran. I do know bits and pieces of Arabic as I bought the Rosetta Stone Arabic course. I want to improve my thinking and response in Arabic. My wife is Moroccan and they speak a Dialect called Darija, its a bit of a distance away from MSA Arabic. She doesn't have the patience to teach.
Warmest greetings
