Advice on bringing in sales💰

Hey, I started an AAA which builds customer support chatbots for small restaurants a couple of months ago.

For the past few months I have not made any progress on securing any clients, and if I do get any hope the deal just falls through. My offer has been to do free builds in exchange for testimonials, however I am thinking now of changing the offer to paid, as I have now recruited some credible developers that already can now provide me with testimonials (just not in the niche I target).

For the past few months I have just been a one man team. But now I am looking to recruit, especially in the sales side. I have hired freelancers on Upwork previously, but most are pretty shit. Do you reckon I should hire some sort of sales rep/ cold caller, and if so what is the best way to do this. I offer a low ticket product under $100
