Maybe you’re trying to understand aged care, home care, assessments, paperwork and a system you never expected to have to navigate. Or perhaps you’re simply trying to prepare for what might be ahead. Whatever brought you here, welcome. ❤️ I created Our Parents, Our Turn because I know how overwhelming this stage of life can be. Suddenly, the people who spent their lives worrying about us need us to start worrying about them. And nobody hands you a manual. There can be big decisions, difficult conversations, confusing systems, sibling dynamics, guilt, frustration, sadness and sometimes a fair bit of humour along the way. This community is a place where we can talk about all of it. Most importantly, I want this to become a place where we can learn from one another. You don’t need to be an expert. You don’t need to have all the answers.
