Just watched Apple’s Liquid Glass design language reveal from WWDC.
It’s not just a visual update. Liquid Glass seems to introduce a more responsive, layered, and expressive UI across Apple platforms. It uses translucency, depth, and motion in a way that feels fluid and alive next gen even.
The design seems to also want to unify experiences across macOS, iOS, and visionOS. Think of it as Apple’s next big step toward organic design in my view, kind of reminds me of Opera Air as well.
A few things stood out:
- The blur and transparency aren’t decorative — they create real depth.
- Surfaces subtly respond to motion, light, and interaction, It feels tactile even though it’s entirely digital.
If you’re into apple apps and design, this is worth keeping an eye on and also the figma community page in terms of what people already start playing around with.
It’s clearly built with longevity and cross-platform fluidity in mind.

FYI, The balance seems to sit on their rule of applying Liquid glass, simply to the navigational layer, not content layer.
