What Is A Blend? The key to smooth sounds!
Today we're learning one of the most important building blocks of English reading and pronunciation...
👉 What is a blend?
📢 Say it with me:
A consonant and a vowel.Put it together.Sound it together.This is called a BLEND!
Examples:
🅱️ + 🅰️ = BA
🆃 + 🅴 = TE
🅼 + 🅾️ = MO
When we blend the sounds together, reading becomes easier and faster!
🎥 VIDEO OUTPUT CHALLENGE
Record a short video and say:
"What is a blend?A consonant and a vowel.Put it together.Sound it together.This is called a blend."
Then demonstrate a few blends:
BA BE BI BO BU
TA TE TI TO TU
MA ME MI MO MU
PA PE PI PO PU
